Styled Shoot at Danzinger Vineyards' New Wedding Venue in Alma, Wisconsin

This styled shoot at the Danzinger Vineyards' new wedding venue shows why this new space is a must consider for couples in the midst of planning their wedding!

Styled shoots are always an amazing experience as a wedding photographer as I get the opportunity to meet and work with so many talented vendors in the industry. This styled shoot is especially exciting though, as it features a brand new wedding venue in Alma, Wisconsin, Danzinger Vineyards! While Danzinger Vineyards has been around since 2003, its new owners Paul and Maddison bought it in 2023 and have been hard at work creating this new wedding venue space. The Overlook, as the space is called, is a phenomenal option for a wedding venue in western Wisconsin, and I’m so excited to share the highlights of the space here!

The Spaces Available for a Wedding at Danzinger Vineyards

The first thing I want to talk about are the different spaces available at Danzinger Vineyards brand new wedding venue. The venue features:

2 Separate onsite getting ready spaces. Both spaces feature pristine lighting, ample space, and a wonderful level of privacy for the start of your wedding day.
The breathtaking Ceremony Deck. This outdoor deck space is the go to spot for your ceremony as it features some incredible views of the Mississippi River and the surrounding landscape.
The Indoor Reception Area is the main space you and your guests will be enjoying yourselves in during the evening of your wedding. This wide open space features an enormous set of glass doors for ideal lighting and some fresh air during your celebration.
The Private Cocktail Patio. This space is found between the Ceremony Deck and Indoor Reception Area and is ideal for guests to enjoy themselves during cocktail hour.

The large space of the Danzinger Vineyards' wedding venue means they can accommodate up to 299 guests for a truly massive wedding celebration, though they welcome smaller gatherings with open arms as well!

The Gorgeous Setting of the Venue

Something I absolutely love about this new wedding venue at the Danzinger Vineyards is how Paul and Maddison were able to create a space that has its own distinct and beautiful style, while also giving couples the freedom to make the space their own. The Indoor Reception Space features sleek, contemporary architecture in harmony with classic stucco facades. It’s a stunning mixture of beauty, new and old, and one that on its own can carry the full weight of being the backdrop for a wedding day.

Paul and Maddison knew though that couples would want to make the space feel true to them and their love, which is why they’re flexible when it comes to couples dressing up the space. In the case of this styled shoot, we took inspiration from the 2025 color of the year, Future Dusk. The color gave us a setting which was a lovely blend of a deep, blue-violet night’s sky combined with warm, and romantic Tuscan summer tones, all wrapped together amongst the Danzinger Vineyards’ gorgeous architecture.

The final touches of this incredible setting of this wedding venue come thanks to the immense natural beauty that surrounds the Danzinger Vineyards. Whether you’re exploring the picturesque vineyards during your sunset portraits, or taking in the serene beauty of the Mississippi River from the Ceremony Deck, Danzinger Vineyards is the complete package!
