Fall Engagement Session in Winona, MN | Ailee + Brian
If you're looking for some fall inspiration for your photos, this engagement session in Winona, Minnesota has you covered!
Even though we were met with some crazy cold temperatures, Ailee, Brian, and I had so much fun with their fall engagement session in Winona, Minnesota. I’ve known these two for a bit now as Ailee is a childhood friend of my husband’s. This made their engagement session that much more personal. It was so wonderful experiencing their love for one another from behind the lens. I’m in love with how their album turned out and I’m also beyond excited for their wedding in Vermont come October!
Their Frigid Fall Engagement Session in Winona
Ailee and Brian’s fall engagement session started atop Garvin Heights City Park, which overlooks the city of Winona. With the sunrise came the warm glow of the fall leaves which is always such a breathtaking sight. It made for the perfect backdrop for the start of our session. Even with the wind and the insanely frigid temperature, Ailee and Brian were absolute champs and so down for everything I put them through. They were laughing, snuggling, and having the best time throughout, and that joyous love really shines through in their photos!
Photos With Huck and the Fall leaves
After making our way down from Garvin Heights Park and snagging some photos with the leaves along the way we had a small outfit change before snagging Ailee and Brian’s pup Huck. Ailee is a vet and a HUGE animal lover, so it only made sense to include Huck into their fall engagement session in Winona. Huck was a natural just like his parents, and a total trooper with all the photos that we included him in. I always love when my couples include their pets into their engagement sessions. It adds such an important personal touch to your album as for most people their pets are such a large part of their family.
After Huck’s time to shine was over, the three of us made our way to a nearby park for our final stretch of photos. With the sun being fully out things were starting to warm up a little. This allowed Aille and Brian both to get in a quick outfit change into some slightly lighter clothes. They still stuck with their fall colors which were complemented beautifully by the yellow and orange leaves all around them. After a bit of dancing, laughing, and loving on one another we put a wrap on one of my favorite fall engagement sessions to date!
Engagement sessions in the fall are always so beautiful, and Ailee and Brian’s in Winona was clearly no exception. I had such a fun time with these two and am so glad I was able to capture this moment of their relationship for them!
